Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative position is primarily responsible for providing support to and working alongside the inside sales reps by nurturing and generating qualified prospective client leads in designated/assigned territories.

Essential Functions
Conduct prospecting activities for qualified lead generation in designated territories across the United States (calls, emails, direct mail outreach, etc.)

* This role will not have specific territories, but will work all territories for leads as assigned by sales team

  • Build professional relationships with banking industry executives, strategic partners, and banking organizations in territories
  • Exhibit at designated banking conferences, including set-up and teardown
  • Nurture leads in the sales funnel with relevant information
  • Conduct all research on leads before exploratory meetings
  • Attend and take detailed notes on sales calls with leads
  • Collaborate with inside sales and marketing teams to develop compelling prospecting/marketing campaigns that generate interest and leads
  • Maintain information on contacts and accounts in CRM (Salesforce), and track progress with leads; review contact lists for targeted outreach
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This role may require some days each week physically in the office.

Consultant

Job Summary
Consultants work with Haberfeld clients from the beginning stages of implementation to the ongoing refinement of the Haberfeld High Performance Growth™ Strategy. They play an important role in our clients’ success by helping them execute effectively. Consultants wear many hats throughout the year, including mystery shopper, training material designer, boardroom presenter and classroom trainer. They work with all levels within client financial institutions, from CEO/Presidents to front-line employees.

Essential Functions
Report to Senior Vice President, Consulting Services and manage all assigned client projects relating to the following tasks:

Client Relationship Management

  • Analyze client policies, procedures and practices and recommend appropriate strategies for success
  • Co-lead / lead IPM (Implementation Planning Meeting) process for clients with nine or fewer branches
  • Facilitate client discussions to reach consensus on issues that will enhance clients’ success
  • Support, co-lead, and lead training engagements (kick-off, refresher, custom, branch visits, virtual training sessions, etc.)
  • Plan and conduct mystery shop engagements, including writing comprehensive mystery shop reports
  • Edit and analyze mystery shopping reports for use in preparing an Executive Summary and customized training materials
  • Prepare and present quality training materials with accuracy and on time for use with on-site or virtual training of client staff
  • Present mystery shopping results, implications, and recommendations to client executive team

Internal Responsibilities

  • Participate in team projects
  • Communicate effectively within all levels of Haberfeld
  • Make travel arrangements for air, hotel, and car rentals
  • Complete expense reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with Symposium sessions and/or Branch Excellence

Competencies

  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence and the appropriate age and driving record to rent cars at the standard rate

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

  • Minimum of 22 weeks of travel per year. Travel is primarily without co-workers. Travel is contained within the United States and is typically 3-5 days in a row. Employee may be required to occasionally travel multiple weeks in a row, but employees are encouraged to travel home on the weekends
  • Confidence in driving and maneuvering through various cities and areas throughout the country. This could include driving in busy traffic in large cities.
  • Travel and/or work may be needed on the weekends
  • Work from Haberfeld office when not traveling and ability to work with limited supervision
  • The noise level in the office and at bank locations is usually quiet, but travel on certain aircraft and through airports may be noisy
  • Professional dress is required when visiting clients, with the exception of mystery shopping engagements, which are casual. Casual attire is the standard for in-office work

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, stand, and use their hands for keyboarding, phone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects
  • The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and to reach with hands and arms. Extensive sitting of several hours is required while traveling by air and by car. Extensive standing is frequently required while traveling, conducting training, and facilitating meetings. Standing during eight or more hours of training is not uncommon. The employee is frequently required to walk extensively in order to proceed through airports
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • This position requires the ability to review detailed documents, read computer screens, and observe marketing materials that are situated throughout the bank locations and observe bank employees as they mark on documents and open accounts
  • The employee is required to hear conversations in all aspects of the position
  • Accurate memory skills are required for mystery shopping duties

  • Four years of professional training experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
